Advertising amplifies what is already there. Here's what every manager and label should understand before launching a paid campaign.

The 50 / 50 Rule

Paid ads put music in front of more ears. But approximately half of a campaign's success comes from our execution, the other half comes from the music itself. If a song isn't connecting with listeners organically, no ad budget will change that. We will always be honest with you about this before a campaign starts.

The Learning Phase

Meta's algorithm requires approximately 50 conversion events - typically reached within 7 days - before it exits the learning phase and cost-per-result stabilizes. During this window, performance fluctuates. That is expected. We do not over-optimize during the learning phase. Patience here leads to significantly better outcomes once it clears.

First-Campaign Costs Are Estimated

If your artist has no paid ad history, there is no data to accurately predict cost-per-stream going in. We estimate based on genre and comparable campaigns, but the actual cost-per-result won't be confirmed until after the learning phase at the 7-day mark. We share that number with you and adjust strategy together from there.

Campaigns Need Time to Work

Most campaigns run 3-6 weeks from launch. Stopping early, especially before the learning phase clears, significantly reduces effectiveness. A meaningful share of streams and views often accumulate after the campaign ends, as the algorithm continues surfacing to engaged audiences. We'll tell you when it's the wrong time to pause.
